Itinerary
From your location we will first head to Pompeii. I will reserve an exclusive tour guide for my customers to try to avoid the main tour groups. (OPTIONAL)The visit to Pompeii will take approx 2 hours and it will be tuned to people's desires and physical attitudes. However the guide will try to show you the highlights of the site.Later we are driving up in the National Park of Vesuvius, with extraordinary views of the Bay of Naples. Once at 3000 ft. You will leave the vehicle to climb up on foot (25 minutes) to the very top. In the Parking area, a cafè is available for those not willing to walk up.I suggest after the walk on the volcano we take a lunch break on the way down to Hercolaneum. Several places for a good pizza are available.At last we come to Hercolaneum, which is smaller but better preserved than Pompeii and very pleasant because less visitors come here. This visit here will take about 1. 5 hours.Upon request a visit to one dozen cameo factories on the Vesuvian Coast will be available.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Pompeii site is extended on a surface of approximately 150 acres. To make the best of your day trip to Pompeii we strongly recommends its optional guided services. Our guided walking tour shall be adapted on the desires and walking attitude of the participants. The walk in Pompeii will be at slow pace. Be aware there is some walking uphill and some steps. For those not willing to take the entire walk there are plenty of cafés and gift shops right outside the entrance. All the walking shall be adapted to the attitudes of the group. However be aware this tour requires some resistance, especially in summer time.
